2011 Opening of the Ski Season Family Picnic Day
Copi Hollow was smiled upon by the heavens for the Annual 2011 Opening of the Ski Season Family Picnic Day, the weather was near perfect and it showed with the attendance being so high.
Our members and their family’s all came together and enjoyed a day of boating, lawn races and lunch in the club house. The night consisted of a party in the club house DJ’d by Dean Pinnuck.
First up the formalities of the day were kicked off with the Passing of the Boat Parade to open the Ski Season for 2011. Our Commodore “Chris Barker” stood on the banks of the Copi Hollow and saluted the boats as they passed by. The boats and families that joined the parade were:

Unfortunately I didn’t get the names of the kids that won the 3 legged races.
Well done to everyone who participated in the races, young and older…as you can see in the photo’s they really are so much fun!
After all the racing on the lawn and skiing on the lake the members were treated to lunch in the club rooms and the children were given a lolly bag and ice-cream.
The Copi Kidz participated in decorating cardboard box boats and masks outside the club rooms and some really cleaver designs were on display for all to see.
During the evening the music was turned up, the lights flashed brightly and the party started in the club rooms with members and guests dancing the night away, the bar was opened by the club and everyone had a really enjoyable night.
The committee wanted to thank everyone who was involved in the organisation and running of the Picnic Day.
