Founding Member’s Grandson Married at Copi Hollow Wedding of Lee Astill to Casey Marsden on the 2nd April 2011
Founding member of the Broken Hill Speedboat Club (BHSBC) Kevin Astill and wife Betty Astill would have stood proudly watching their grandson Lee marry his soul mate Casey Marsden at the very place he put his heart and soul into.
Lee Astill (son of Howard and Heather Astill) married Casey Marsden (daughter of Jack Marsden and Judy Francis) on the 2nd April 2011.
Casey looked stunning in a strapless white gown, holding a white bouquet of Calla Lilies as she arrived by Holden Monaro and 4WD with her maid of honour Shannon West, bridesmaids Kathryn James, Billi-Jo Croombe, Jane Marie Thomson and flower girl Jade Eglinton.
The maid of honour and bridesmaids were dressed in stunning black v-neck, floor length gowns and held a bouquet of orange Calla Lilies.
Casey’s brother Jordan drove Casey to the wedding not wanting her to be late, but as every bride knows…its expected.
Lee waited on the banks of Copi Hollow under the big Willow tree with a mixture of excitement and nerves along with his best man Justin Pascoe and groomsmen Owen Webb, Phillip Hall (Cousin) and Cameron Holden (BHSBC Member).
After the ceremony the happy couple had photo’s taken in and around Copi Hollow and Pamamaroo.
The reception followed at the Copi Hollow Club House, the Club House was transformed into a spectacular sight, which created the perfect backdrop for the wedding reception. The guests were treated to a fine dining experience with breathtaking views of the sunset over Copi Hollow.
Later in the evening Lee and Casey danced their first dance as Mr and Mrs Astill with friends and family joining the happy couple out on the dance floor.
Lee and Casey wanted to extend their thanks to the caretakers Andrew and Sharon for the help they provided in the setting up and packing up of the wedding and reception.
The Broken Hill Speedboat Club would like to extend our congratulations to Lee and Casey on your marriage and wish you a life time of happiness and success!
