Searching for information

I recently received an email from Craig Stagg asking for any information about a boat that belonged to his grandfather who has passed away.
The email is below:
Hello,
I’m just wondering if anybody can give me info, photos etc on a boat that used to race and was a stop/start boat in the late 70’s-early80’s.
The boat is now our family boat after my grandpa purchased her off Tony McIntyre (I think) the boats name is Caprice and is a 1976 Gilflite Javelin MkII.
We do have its minor trophy’s up at our shack on the River Murray, so i know it raced. I just want to see any photo’s etc of when she was a race boat.

It would be fantastic if we could provide Craig with some information and or photo’s of the boat and or his grandfather in action. So please dig deep into those old photo’s…I’m sure it would be a real trip down memory lane and remember to submit photo’s and story’s from years gone by to me for this newsletter.
